Shewee Goes Sky Hi at the NEC Outdoor Show

Shewee Ltd sold record numbers of stock at the Outdoor show in Birmingham this weekend.

We sold the equivalent of 1 Shewee every 30 seconds for the length of the show! With the Bright Pink Shewee being the favourite, closely followed by the Shewee Extreme.

Previous customers returned to buy something else….’we bought a Shewee before and love it- what else do you have?!’ was often the question. Proud customers stepped away with a specially designed case or the Extension Pipe to complement their Shewee. New customers were confident and excited to have found our stand. Many saying they came with their husbands especially to find us and see a Shewee in real life! Our advertising has definitely been working! No more embarrassing giggles like we experienced in 2007.

Many men were also relieved to see us – “this is exactly what my wife needs” and with 3 colours on offer they were spoilt for choice! The buy two and get one free on everything, including the T-shirts and X-fronts was a very popular. This offer will definitely be helping to spread the Shewee word as many people bought for friends who weren’t at the show. Although the show felt smaller because it was in one hall, the organisers guarantee it was the biggest yet! It certainly was for Shewee! Amazing challenges for the visitors- everything from climbing walls, to canoeing, scuba diving, and tight rope walking was on offer and attracted whole families.

The most extreme activity was the Scouts high wire quadrangle. Shewee Ltd’s managing director braved the wobbly lines, 1000 feet up (that’s what she tells us!) whilst sporting her X-fronts on the outside of her trousers - our very own Super Hero!! Notes to the editor: Sam’s mantra to get herself round the course….STAND UP TAKE CONTROL – THIS IS EASIER THAN SETTING UP THE BUSINESS….What she was actually thinking THIS IS THE MOST SCARY THING I’VE EVER DONE – I CAN’T GIVE UP THE MAN IN FRONT IS MANAGING IT! Anything they can do- we (women) can do better!
